My education
I have grown up within the Diocese of Buffalo Catholic schools. I went to Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary for elementary and grade school. I then went to St. Mary's in Lancaster for high school. Finally, I chose to go to the University at Buffalo and received my B.A. in mathematics with a concentration in education. I continued at UB and received my masters in mathematics education.
Teaching experience
I completed my student teaching at Niagara Falls high school and Cheektowaga Central High School. While compelting my masters degree I substitute taught in the Alden Central School district for 6 months. My first full time teaching job was at St. Joseph University School. I worked at SJUS for 3 years teaching middle school math, 8th grade religion, and technology. I have been teaching at Desales since 2019 and I am extremely happy to be a part of this family.
outside of Teaching
When I am not teaching, I spent most of my time with my husband Chris of 4 years and our rescue dog Finch. We adopted her in April of 2019 and we could not be more in love with her. Our favorite activities are hiking and camping with Finch.
I am a huge sports fan and closely follow the NY Yankees, Buffalo Bills, and UB men's basketball. After school I can be found assistant coaching girls JV basketball and head coaching JV softball at Sacred Heart Academy of Buffalo.
